Materials
Our women’s swimwear is crafted from Carvico Vita, a regenerated nylon yarn made from discarded fishing nets and other nylon waste.
By choosing these materials, we aim to give existing resources a new life and reduce the demand for virgin plastics. Each fiber is selected to ensure durability, comfort, and style, so that your SOPHiA pieces not only feel good on the first wear, but remain reliable and enjoyable over time.
Using regenerated fibers is part of our ongoing effort to design responsibly, combining timeless quality with a mindful approach to the environment.

Production & Partnerships
All prints are made with eco-ink, and every piece of SOPHiA swimwear comes with hygiene liners designed with the environment in mind.
Our production teams donate proceeds from each design and order to Grassroots Organizations, an international non-profit that supports initiatives to improve working conditions, access to education for women, and opportunities for communities in need. This partnership helps us at SOPHiA support social impact in areas that relate directly to our production practices.
This partnership allows us to learn and apply responsible production practices that reduce waste and support sustainable local businesses. By working with organizations like ROLE Foundation, we ensure that our production approach is aligned with both social and environmental responsibility.
Packaging
When you receive your SOPHiA order, it will arrive in packaging made from recycled materials.
